Integrative Neurodiversity Consultation - $449

  • For parents of babies and toddlers 4 - 36 months. This package entails the expertise of a Certified Baby-Lead Sleep and Wellness Specialist - who has been where you are! During our call, we will work to ensure that you have all of the tools you need to feel confident as you make small adjustments to work towards goals that work for you and your family, and towards achieving more rest for everyone!

  • Infant sleep consulting services that are holistic, connection focused, and tailored to meet your baby’s unique needs.

The Integrative Neurodiversity Consultation is a comprehensive, high-touch evaluation and planning process for infants and young children from birth through age six whose needs extend beyond typical expectations. This offering evolved from my original comprehensive sleep consultations, and while a detailed sleep analysis remains central, it is now embedded within a broader neurodevelopmental framework.

Prior to our consultation, you will complete an in-depth intake that allows me to analyze your child’s sleep architecture, feeding patterns, regulation capacity, sensory responses, developmental history, medical background, and family environment. We examine not only what is happening, but how often, how intensely, and in what context. Patterns matter. Frequency matters. Family systems matter.

During our consultation, we synthesize this information into a clear, developmentally grounded understanding of your child’s nervous system profile. We assess temperament, sensory processing tendencies, attachment dynamics, environmental stressors, and sleep physiology as interconnected systems rather than isolated concerns. If red flags are present, we discuss them directly. This may include consideration of airway concerns, feeding mechanics, motor coordination, regulation challenges, emerging neurodivergent traits, or the need for further evaluation through physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, Early Intervention (EI), or Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE), depending on availability in your region.

Families receive a comprehensive sleep analysis and plan tailored to their child’s nervous system and developmental profile. This is not behavior modification. It is physiology-informed support that aligns with attachment, regulation, and long-term development. In addition to sleep planning, you will receive structured guidance for sensory lifestyle adjustments, regulation support, feeding considerations, and next-step referrals where appropriate.

Following our consultation, ongoing email support and supplemental resources allow us to clarify recommendations, refine strategies, and ensure you feel equipped to implement changes thoughtfully. When provider interactions feel dismissive, you will not be left without language. I help you articulate concerns clearly, reference observable patterns, and advocate effectively for further evaluation when indicated.

This consultation is designed for families who want more than reassurance. It is for those seeking clarity, comprehensive analysis, and a steady professional partnership as they navigate early neurodevelopment with intention and informed consent.

Includes intake form analysis, educational materials, referrals as needed, and an hour long video meeting to go over your detailed intake form. You can expect to walk away from our conversation with a plan in place to feel confident moving forward. We will also discuss any red flags and any questions or concerns, that you may have.

My work is rooted in challenging the current paradigm of how we approach and support neurodivergent babies.

For too long, highly sensitive and neurodivergent infants have been dismissed, minimized, or mischaracterized. Parents are told it’s “just colic.” They’re advised to wait it out. They’re encouraged to implement behavioral sleep training without a thorough evaluation of feeding, airway, sensory processing, nervous system regulation, or early developmental differences.

I believe we can—and must—do better.

As a registered nurse, certified lactation counselor, pediatric sleep specialist, and neurodivergent mother of three neurodivergent boys, I approach babies through a nervous system lens. Sleep is not a skill to be learned. It is a biological function deeply intertwined with regulation, sensory processing, attachment, and development.

When a baby cries inconsolably, wakes frequently, or requires constant contact, it is not a result of being “spoiled.” It is communication. It warrants careful assessment, not dismissal. A diagnosis of “colic” should never replace early intervention referral, comprehensive evaluation, and meaningful support.

The Early Neurodiversity Company exists to bridge the gap between instinct and evidence. Here, we prioritize regulation over compliance. Investigation over assumption. Support over suppression.

My goal is not to make babies easier to manage.
It is to ensure they are understood.

It is to ensure that parents are heard and not dismissed.

Together, we build environments that protect connection, honor neurodivergent development, and support both parent and child—without resorting to behavioral extinction methods that override biology.

  • One family's ‘bad habit’ is another family's treasured time together.”

    - Dr. James McKenna

Tired of hearing that you’re the reason your little one is so sensitive? That if you were more consistent, more structured, or simply tried harder, things would improve?

You are not the problem. And your child is not broken.

Persistent sleep disruption, sensory overwhelm, feeding difficulty, and regulation challenges are not moral failures or signs of poor parenting. They are information. They are patterns. And patterns deserve thoughtful evaluation, not dismissal.

At The Early Neurodiversity Company, we move beyond reassurance and into understanding. You will not be handed generic advice or told to wait it out. Instead, you will gain clarity about what is biologically typical, what may indicate underlying nervous system differences, and what warrants further support.

Together, we examine the full picture—sleep physiology, sensory processing, attachment, temperament, feeding mechanics, environmental stressors, and potential red flags. We identify what is contributing to your child’s struggles and build a plan that supports regulation, connection, and sustainable rest without relying on separation-based tactics or behaviorist methods.

You deserve more than being told that “all babies do that.”

You deserve informed answers, structured guidance, and a partner who takes your concerns seriously.

  • Hi!  I’m Seugnet, a Certified Sleep & Wellbeing Specialist, licensed therapist and most importantly I am a Mama to a highly sensitive little boy, my reason for entering the world of sleep! I am shaped by my personal and professional experiences.  My education is rooted in child development, attachment sciences and family relationships.  I have a master’s degree in Systemic Psychotherapy (Family Therapy), Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Post Graduate diploma in Play Therapy.  I have loved working with families from all walks of life over the past 20 yearsliving in South Africa and London, UK and the US.  I have extensive experience in supporting families from various cultural backgrounds with parenting, family relationships, adult and children’s mental health and sleep.

I have always loved to study and do research in my work with families, and it was no different when my son was born.  I realized despite all my years of studying that I knew very little about sleep and sleep science.  As a new mother, exhausted and anxious, I found myself completely overwhelmed by all the different and conflicting messages I was receiving from outside influences about what ‘normal’ sleep should look like.

I was fortunate to navigate my way through all the overwhelming information by listening to my heart, drawing from my knowledge around child attachment, child development and by responding to my son’s needs day and night!  I felt at peace following my own intuition and seeing positive changes with regards to sleep without compromising my attachment relationship with him.  I was able to frame sleep from a developmentally normal perspective, learned more about temperament, neurodiversity, maternal mental health, attachment, sensory needs and all the various puzzle pieces that affect sleep.

It has since this time become a passion of mine to support families to get more sleep without feeling that separation-based techniques or ‘waiting it out’ are the only options available to them. I have a holistic and supportive approach.  I believe that a parent’s instinct is their best guide, and I hope to offer families a map and guide them to reach their sleep goals for their little ones.

The Early Neurodiversity Company Approach

As a registered nurse, Certified lactation counselor, Pediatric Sleep Specialist, and , AND a mom to three highly sensitive, neurodivergent, wonderful boys!

My mission is to support families of highly sensitive, neurodivergent, and complex infants and young children by helping them understand what is happening beneath the surface. While sleep is often the entry point, our work extends into nervous system regulation, sensory processing, feeding dynamics, temperament, attachment, and early developmental support. Together, we focus on what your child’s physiology is communicating, what your family truly needs, and how to create sustainable rhythms that support both connection and restorative rest.

My services do not include behaviorist sleep training, extinction-based methods, or separation-driven tactics.

You can expect a plan moving forward that:

  • Integrates a comprehensive sleep analysis grounded in physiology rather than compliance

  • Prioritizes nervous system regulation and attachment security

  • Honors your child’s temperament, sensory profile, and developmental trajectory

  • Screens for red flags related to airway function, feeding mechanics, motor development, regulation capacity, and emerging neurodivergent traits

  • Provides guidance on when to pursue occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, Early Intervention, or further medical evaluation

  • Equips you with clear language and documentation strategies to advocate confidently if concerns are minimized by providers

  • Supports feeding relationships through evidence-informed lactation and developmental insight

  • Accounts for family dynamics, parental capacity, and environmental stressors

  • Offers realistic, sustainable adjustments that protect connection while improving sleep and regulation

During our time together, we will explore your goals, your concerns, and the full context of your child’s development. Every baby is different. Every family system is different. Understanding your child’s nervous system profile is foundational to understanding their sleep, feeding, and behavior.

Whether you are navigating chronic night waking, split nights, sensory overload, feeding difficulty, mouth breathing, dysregulation, developmental concerns, or simply wondering whether what you’re seeing is typical, we will approach it systematically and collaboratively.

You will leave with clarity about what is biologically expected, what warrants further investigation, and what next steps are appropriate. We will discuss potential red flags openly and outline referral pathways when needed. You will understand your child’s temperament and sensory needs, along with practical strategies to support them in daily life.

From my family to yours—research, real-life perspective, and practical support for raising highly sensitive and neurodivergent kids.
